Street Light Not Working
More than 4,000 streetlights illuminate highways and city streets in Redmond. Some streetlights in Redmond are owned and maintained by the City, while others are owned and maintained by Puget Sound Energy (PSE).
- City-owned streetlights are labeled with a fluorescent yellow tag
- A white PSE tag can identify PSE-owned streetlights
To report a PSE street light problem, residents can submit a service ticket to PSE: https://www.pse.com/en/outage/report-street-light-outage
To report an immediate hazard to PSE, such as a downed power line, downed pole, or street light at risk of falling, call PSE at 1-888-225-5773.
For information about streetlights, including lights not working, the City's conversion to LED lighting, or if you feel that an area is too dark please visit https://www.redmond.gov/253/Safety
